In 1957 Co-operative Credit Society received Banking Status and converted to “The Dahanu Road Janata Co-op. Bank Ltd.”

During 1996-97, under Leadership of Chairman Late Shri Rajesh H. Parekh & Board of Directors bank’s computerization was started with the help of SMILE/BKIT software company, Mumbai.
